Having attended an RCSA seminar with Aims Global, I wondered how many engineering consultancies are aware of the upcoming changes to work visa. In a nutshell, if you are not an Accredited Employer and you have team members who require a work visa, gaining an extension after 31st October 2021 will not be possible.<\/p>\n

Engineers, technicians, and support workers who have essential skills work visa, talent visa or long-term skill shortage visa require an employer that is an Accredited Employer to continue their employment.<\/p>\n

With good candidates so hard to find, don\u2019t leave this process to the last minute. NZ immigration indicated they expect a high level of applications from late September when the new system is launched.<\/p>\n
