Born in Christchurch, I moved to Wellington in 2012 after securing a job in the travel industry. Whilst I loved my job, I found that I kept being asked by various recruiter clients of mine that ‘I should consider a job in the industry’ and after finally being caught on a bad day I figured that there may be something to this! A few coffees later I had a contract in front of me and I have never looked back since.
Since 2014 I have built my career in accounting and HRIS/payroll recruitment, initially working for a large multinational firm and working my way into a management role before moving to Archway recruitment to set up their accounting and HRIS/payroll specialisation.
As a recruiter I have a strong network and pride myself on a consultative, transparent and good-humored approach. When working with both clients and candidates, I believe in priortising trust to build an enduring relationship for a long-term partnership.
When not at work I’m an avid football and cricket fan and play in several indoor and outdoor leagues, visit the gym regularly, love quality music and TV shows as well as hanging out with my partner and mates enjoying Wellington’s craft beer scene.
